Welcome to the Solaio

In the heart of the pedestrian area between Villa Cerami and the arch of the Benedictine nuns, the pizzeria and focacceria "Il Solaio" will give you the opportunity to enjoy your dinner in an enchanted place, where history and legends overlap, helping to make your evening magical.
Via Crociferi surrounded by churches, monasteries and a few civilian houses, is an example of the unity of Baroque architecture.

In the short space of about 200 meters there are four churches. The first is the Church of San Benedetto connected to the convent of the Benedictine nuns by the arch of the same name that overlaps the road and connects the large Badia to the small Badia. It is accessed by a staircase and is surrounded by a wrought iron gate. Continuing we find the Church of San Francesco Borgia which is accessed via two staircases. Following is the Jesuit College, the old seat of the Art Institute, with a beautiful cloister inside with arcades on columns and arches.

In the midst of so much history and architecture, integrated into the baroque frame of via Crociferi, the pizzeria and focacceria "Il Solaio" will not betray your expectations of taste desire!

The Solaio to be discovered!
